Terms of Service

Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API keys. Account data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy .

Billing & Credits

Lexi uses a prepaid credit model:

• You purchase credits via Stripe
• Each API request deducts provider cost + Lexi fee (40% of savings)
• If no savings are achieved, only the provider cost is deducted

New accounts receive $10 in free credit.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to bypass rate limits or security measures
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the service
• Resell or redistribute access to the service without written permission

Provider API Keys

Lexi uses its own provider API keys to forward requests. You do not need to provide your own. Lexi is not responsible for provider-side outages, rate limits, or policy changes.

Availability

Lexi is provided "as is" without guaranteed uptime. We make reasonable efforts to maintain availability but do not offer an SLA. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LexiCo AS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. Upon termination, remaining credits are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email.
